M.Sc. candidate,  Forest  Sciences, UBC V

My current work investigates the population biology of an ectomycorrhizal fungal species and how it interacts with Douglas-fir. I am particularly interested in the architecture of common mycorrhizal networks, or connective links between the fungi and host trees, and potential genetic influences therein. This work will contribute to our understanding of how subterranean processes may affect ecosystem productivity.
